Toolkit's Guide to: Setting up a Business Twitter Page

Setting up a Twitter account is a great idea for businesses that want to have their brand/ products/ services reach a vast audience. With a 140 character limit for each "Tweet", it's the perfect place to promote news, company opinion, industry related articles, topics and to generate great discussion.

We have a Twitter Setup service whereby we create the account for you, but if you want to give it a go yourself, take a look at the guide below...

Setting up a Twitter page for a business is very simple. All you need to do is head to Twitter.com and sign up using your Business Name, popping your email address in and choosing a password.

Once you've done this, you will need to head to your email, and click a link in the confirmation email Twitter would have sent you. That's just Twitter checking that it is you and not some random person using your email address to set up a page!

Once you've done that, you can get started right away by adding all of the info you need in your account settings:

You will be prompted to add a cover photo and a profile icon and you're all set to begin Tweeting!

To get a good start, follow all of the companies, celebrities, clients, pages that are of interest to you and your business, and get tweeting!

Don't forget to check out what is trending that day, and don't be afraid to get involved in discussing them! Twitter is all about being social, vocal and keeping up to date with the latest "trends."

And to get you started, why not follow us on Twitter? We'll happily follow you back!

Happy Tweeting!
