Toolkit's Guide to: Creating a Twitter Feed

If you want a live feed of your Tweets, on your website page, it's really simple to make!

The benefits of having a feed on your website, instead of a link to your Twitter page, is so that people can see your tweets and updates without navigating away from your web page. It also automatically updates every time you post a new tweet, which means that your website is up to date and fresh!

To create a Twitter feed, you will need to go to the Widget section which you'll find in the General Settings of your account.

Once you've clicked on this, it will take you to a screen where you can choose what the dimensions of your feed will be, what colour, and you can specify what colour the links are on your feed also.

You'll be able to preview your feed in the right hand panel window, and once you're happy with it, you can save the changes and then copy the code it supplies you with.

All you need to do is send the code to your website designer, where your project manager will be able to embed the widget into your site. Or, you can add it yourself into the HTML source view.

We hope that helps.
