Toolkit's Guide to: Creating a Facebook Like Box

Creating a Facebook Like Box is easy to do, and really beneficial. Instead of people clicking on your Facebook icon to visit your page, the like box ensures that visitors to your site, stay on your site, whilst being able to read your Facebook statuses and updates from the comfort of your page.

All you need to do is go to this link for the Page Plugin facility.

You will need to be logged into your personal Facebook page to be able to access this page.

Once you have set what dimensions you want, and how you want it to look, you can view the preview below which will show you how it looks before you go ahead.

Once you're happy, you will need to press the button that says "Get Code."

Once you have pressed this, a couple of options will appear. You will need to copy the code from the second option (in a red box in the screen shot below.)

This is the code you will need to send to your web designer to embed into your website page, or you can use the HTML source view to place your widget on your page using the content management system.

We hope that helps, and if you have any questions, please do let us know!
